Retiree Status for OPEIU Local 8 Members
OPEIU Local 8 offers the opportunity for retired members to extend your membership through Retiree Status. This would allow you to attend Membership Assemblies and other Local 8 activities and retain your right to be a voting member. In addition, you’ll retain the $3,500 American Income Life Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance Policy and have access to the UnionPlus Benefits Program. Retiree Status dues is just $5.00 a month. To sign up for OPEIU Local 8 Retiree Status contact Membership Accounts Manager Mary Silver at marys@opeiu8.org or 1-800-600-2433 ext. 114.

OPEIU Local 8 401(k) Retirement Plan
The following information is for Local 8 members who currently participate in the OPEIU Local 8 401(k) Plan OR who are eligible to participate. Look in your Union Contract to see if you are eligible to participate.
